Calvary by the Sea Sunday School
Last class of the 2016-2017 Sunday School year will be Sunday, May 28, 2017.
Deep Blue Curriculum
Deep Blue is the new awe-inspiring resource for children which includes adventure, exciting stories, science experiments, arts and crafts, animated video storytelling, and active games-all combined into a living–faith experience that will help children discover what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ today!
In the one-room classroom, children will:
learn the language of faith while growing in the love of God and Jesus.
practice faith formation with children of various ages.
work through the biblical message using their learning style to do activities for their age level.
experience God's love through prayer, activity, and worship each week.
Sunday School Schedule and Time
Sunday School will begin on Sunday, September 4th, 2016 and end on Sunday, May 28th, 2017. Sunday school will be every Sunday EXCEPT Sunday, December 11th as that is the Honolulu Marathon and Calvary modifies church hours that Sunday to accommodate the race.
Class Time: 10:10-11:10am
Class will begin right after the Keiki sermon. Pastor Tim will call the children down from the congregation for the keiki sermon which will now occur within the first 10 minutes of church. After the keiki sermon, Pastor Tim will excuse the children to Sunday School. The Sunday School teacher and/or volunteer will be available to walk the children across the parking lot/lawn to class. Please come and pick your child up once service is over.

2. Sunday, December 25th (Christmas Day) – Christmas celebratiion!
3. Sunday, April 16th (Easter Day) – Easter celebration!
Register your child and/or volunteer
If you’d like your child to attend Sunday School, please register them via this simple online form. If you have any questions or concerns you can contact the Sunday School teacher, Kelly Holden, at email@example.com. You do not need to be a member of the church for your child to attend Sunday School, all are welcome.
If you’d like to help, we’d love to have you! We need volunteers to help walk children to and from service and assist in the classroom. We’d also welcome volunteers who want to share specific talents with the class (perhaps a storyteller or a song leader). Please let us know by filling out the volunteer form here. Mahalo!
